My pulse is fading,my heart is sinking..,

I can't think straight,my thoughts all mingling!!

The day has lost  its warmth.the night all its charm..

I'm going about my chores, as if lost in a trance!!!

The flowers in my garden,no longer look that lovely...

the puppies in my backyard,no longer that cuddly!!

Oh please shut that music,its jarring to my ears..

Oh god  please help me,just take away these fears!!

I'll be brave,ill surely be wise,

will keep my mouth sealed,no matter what the price!!

 Shy ,demure, dutiful..is what im gonna be,

isn't this what she wants,my hubby's mummy ji??

No baddy, loud music,no t shirts,skirts or jeans,

no prancing around the house like a girl in her teens!!

Am refreshing my culinary skills,be it dosa,idli,

isn't this what she wants,my hubby's mummy ji??

What is it about mothers-in-law that even after so many years of my marriage,mine can  make a rowdy like me nervous:))))))))))))))))))))
